M:Soundtrack Mini Fest
M:Soundtrack X am:Start presents:
Release: The Erich Weinert Studioband (Bln) + Michał Biela (Pl)
The Erich Weinert Studioband is a collective in which roles shift:
There's no set schedule for who finds the lyrics to the melodies or the rhythm to the harmony. They meet in the eponymous studio, where drummer Ed Rich records all stuff on tape-machine. The result is heart-warming songs for dancing feet. Fixed stars are the wonderfully clear vocals of Lydia Pfefferkorn (Jacques Palminger & 440Hz Trio), the soup-salting piano of Fabian Skodda, as well as the signature sound of a soulful harmonica played by Coward Harpendale (Andre Welt), and last but not least: guitarist F.S.Blumm, who is involved in numerous projects and recently switched to bass.
The band locates its sound somewhere between everyday poetry and ancient pop music.
Lydia Pfefferkorn: Gesang
Fabian Skodda: Piano
Ed Rich: Schlagzeug
Andre Welt: Mundharmonika
F.S.Blumm: Bass

SEOI NAGE – Cinematic kraut-funk from Münster. Named after a classic judo throw and formed by musicians with martial arts backgrounds, Seoi Nage is an instrumental four-piece—delivering a genre-hopping tour de force. Think: martial arts cinema meets Italian giallo, sleazy car chases, and psychedelic noir. Their debut feels like the soundtrack to a cult film that never existed—full of swagger, funk, and suspense.

KNEIPENABEND / BAR NIGHT. no concert/djs tonight, the bar is gonna be open for you though. cozy athmosphere, cheap beer & good drinks, exquisite music, table football...
Comprised of guitarist Tom Brooke and drummer Tuomas Kainulainen, NYOS are known for their immersive and often physically demanding live shows, having toured intensely throughout their first decade of existence, including tours supporting Zeal & Ardor, Esben and the Witch and The Comet Is Coming as well as appearances at festivals such as Sideways Festival in Helsinki, Fekete Zaj in Hungary and Pelagic Fest in Netherlands. The duo create massive sonic worlds using Brooke’s labyrinthine loops and atmospheric layering alongside Kainulainen’s kinetic drumming, in music that is rhythmic, raw, and eclectic.
Since their formation in 2014, NYOS have carved out a distinctive place within Europe’s experimental and post-rock scenes, characterised by their relentless energy, polyrhythmic complexity, and hypnotic layering.
While still rooted in their signature loop-based approach, Growl is “more ambitious with song soundscapes and compositions”, says guitarist Tom Brooke, naturally embracing a denser, more textured sound with greater attention to atmosphere and tension.
The band will be touring to support their 7th studio album ‘Growl’ throughout the 2nd half of 2025 and into 2026. (Growl to be released 10th October via Pelagic Records)

Berlin-based musician Oyèmi Noize has been carving a unique space in the city’s alternative scene—turning her former bedroom project into a powerful live experience alongside her no-longer-imaginary friends The Sad Girls. With a sound that blends introspective vulnerability and fierce energy, they deliver anthems of heartbreak, resilience, and empowerment that strike a deeply personal chord.
Their songs navigate identity, mental health, and solidarity through melancholic melodies, driving rhythms, and catchy hooks that balance intimacy with strength—imagine American Football meeting The Smashing Pumpkins, sprinkled with Mannequin Pussy.
Oyèmi’s message is simple yet urgent: “The world is a scary place, but we are not alone—trust me, we will be ok.”

Berlin-based trio Leep fuse intricate rhythms, dissonant guitars, and emotionally raw vocals into a sound suspended between post-hardcore, post-punk, and math rock. Their songs build through tension and release, shifting time signatures and atmospheric crescendos that feel both fragile and explosive—a sonic space where precision meets vulnerability.

FLINTA* IM KIEZ is a monthly concert series organized by MY PEOPLE BOOKING in Berlin, aimed at providing a platform for underrepresented musicians in the city’s alternative rock and punk scenes.
The series specifically focuses on FLINTA* (women*, lesbians, inter people, non-binary people, trans people, and agender people) artists who often face challenges in spaces dominated by cisgender male musicians. By offering a stage to these artists, the project works to disrupt the dominance of privileged voices in the alternative music scene and ensure that diverse perspectives are given visibility.
The concert series will take place across Berlin, ensuring that it reaches different communities and supports the city's rich underground music culture. The initiative also responds to the struggles faced by small venues, which have been hit by rising costs and economic downturns.
By highlighting local talent and providing a space for FLINTA* musicians, the concert series creates an important cultural environment that nurtures new artists and fosters community support.
Additionally, FLINTA* IM KIEZ will implement sliding scale pricing for tickets, making these events more accessible to a wider range of people, particularly those from marginalized communities such as FLINTA*, BIPoC, and individuals with migration experiences.
This approach ensures that everyone, regardless of income, has the opportunity to experience and enjoy underground music. With a focus on diversity and inclusion, the series strives to build a more equitable cultural landscape for both artists and audiences.
The concert series is made possible in part by the support of MusicBoard Berlin, as part of the POP IM KIEZ funding programme, without which this project would not be possible.

Was

Twenty-five years ago, seven young Berlin musicians ignited a fire, fueled by their love of Caribbean music: reggae and jazz. Soon the flames grew larger – sometimes uniting into a conflagration, sometimes into a cozy campfire. It found a permanent fire pit at Berliner Schokoladen and also lit many other stages and venues. This fire was stoked and nurtured over a long period of time – fueled by a love of music and numerous musical supporters. Wood matures, changes its structure, and leads to different flames like Wood In Di Fire. Thanks to the connection and appreciation, the fire continues to burn today, constantly transforming in form and color. Over the years, it has warmed the hearts of many who feel comfortable around it and have enjoyed it for decades. After 25 years, it is time to let the fire blaze again with all those who have been captivated by it. Come and warm yourself by it on November 14th and 15th at Berliner Schokoladen.

With a raw and electric style, Xerox first book by Riccardo S. D’Ercole tells an existential downfall built through furious words and disorienting images a continuous flow through a long, dirty night with no redemption. In the saturated air of a hardcore concert, the rhythm follows the frantic beat of the music, sentences distort along with the guitars, perceptions and memories blend in a pounding crescendo leading to a cathartic implosion.
During the book talk organized by Le Balene Possono Volare, D’Ercole will talk about his book and discuss it with Simone Brizzi, interspersing the conversation with readings from the book performed by Mattia Grigolo, accompanied by the distorted guitar of IOCI. The event will be held in Italian.
Afterwards, a concert by IOCI, industrial punk band based in Berlin.
