The SWORN LIARS are an unhallowed and arcane entity. Their home and creative hub is an old bat infested WWII bunker built upon an ancient burial ground of suicides and heathens and rumoured to once have been the refuge of the occult Thule society and Otto Wilhelm Rahn obsessed with recovering the Holy Grail. During the beginning of the last viral Apocalypse The SWORN LIARS, these five hollow shadows, with their origins in the voodoo stricken favelas of Venezuela, the maddening vast deserts of Irak, the merciless sunny beaches of California and the dark torture dungeons of cold cruel Deutschland have been conjuring not only demons but also their latest aural manifesto SEVERE OPTIMISM.

The SWORN LIARS have channeled their Arcane Rodent Creep Bunker Rawk with the Hammer Horror organ and the Pyramid in the eye guitar with the incantations and ramblings of a certified lunatic into sorta modern day recording equipment. And they would absolutely gladly persuade and mislead you into unleashing some SEVERE OPTIMISM.

In these kabbalistic times it's pretty damn good to get yourself a little SEVERE OPTIMISM.

ZHAAT - ursprünglich einfach nur ein Fantasiewort, das der Musik entsprechen sollte, ohne Einschränkung und wertfrei, verwirrend, mystisch. Erst im Nachhinein stellte sich heraus, das Wort kommt aus dem Arabischen und bedeutet "Essenz" oder wird mit "dem Innersten (Kern / Seele / Antrieb) eines Wesens" gleichgesetzt. Zufall? Schicksal? Kurios allemal, zumal die Band sich an orientalischen Tonleitern, Klängen und Bildern bedient und starre Grenzen nicht nur musikalisch, sondern auch künstlerisch gerne Richtung Orient überwindet. 

Das Quartett aus Leipzig entwickelt seit 2018 seinen eigenen Sound. Experimentierfreudiger Post-HC wird mit schwerem psychedelischen Stoner-Rock zu einem Klangteppich gewebt, der in seiner Farbgebung auffällt. Durch vereinzelte orientalische Melodien und Rhythmen entsteht ein mystisch hypnotischer Mix, der den schweren Gitarrenwänden eine gewisse Leichtigkeit entgegenstellt.

ZHAAT - originally just a fantasy word that was supposed to correspond to music, without restriction and value-free, confusing, mystical. Only in retrospect did it turn out that the word comes from Arabic and means "essence" or is equated with "the innermost (core / soul / drive) of a being". Coincidence? Fate? Curious in any case, especially since the band makes use of oriental scales, sounds and images and likes to overcome rigid boundaries not only musically, but also artistically in the direction of the Orient.

The quartet from Leipzig has been developing its own sound since 2018. Experimental post-HC is woven with heavy psychedelic stoner rock into a carpet of sound that stands out in its coloring. Isolated oriental melodies and rhythms create a mystically hypnotic mix that contrasts the heavy guitar walls with a certain lightness.

Die überaus sympathische Band Red Mess, fügt die rohen Sounds des 90er-Grunge mit der Schwere des Stonerrock und der Experimentierlust des Progressive Rock zusammen. Stets wiedererkennbar bleibt die prägnante, unverwechselbare Stimme, die hier eindringlich und voller Emotion über das eigene Seelenleben Auskunft gibt. Aber auch die musikalische Finesse, das Können und die Energie der Band ist beeindruckend.

The extremely likeable band Red Mess combines the raw sounds of 90s grunge with the heaviness of stoner rock and the desire to experiment of progressive rock. The concise, unmistakable voice remains always recognizable, providing insistent and emotional information about one's own inner life. But also the musical finesse, the skill and the energy of the band is impressive.

deathcrash sind eine vierköpfige Slowcore-Band aus London. Obwohl sie zusammen mit anderen großartigen Bands aus Südlondon wie Black Country New Road, Jerskin Fendrix, Sorry und Black Midi bekannt wurden, hatten deathcrash schon immer eine ganz eigene mysteriöse Energie an sich, wie schüchterne Kinder in der Ecke, die still und leise etwas Großartiges erschaffen.

Im Januar 2022 veröffentlichten sie ihr Debütalbum „Return“, ein 65-minütiges Statement, das vom Loud and Quiet Magazin als „eine Fülle an musikalischem Reichtum, die nur durch die Tiefe der Assoziationen, die das Album durchziehen, übertroffen wird“ gepriesen wurde.

Die Band gab sich damit nicht zufrieden und zog nur sechs Monate nach dieser Veröffentlichung auf die Äußeren Hebriden, um „Less“ aufzunehmen, ihr zweites Album, das eine fokussierte und schlanke Weiterentwicklung ihres Sounds darstellt. „Less“ wurde von Pitchfork, Line of Best Fit, Brooklyn Vegan, So Young, Louder Than War und Loud and Quiet hoch gelobt und wurde nicht nur auf BBC Radio 1, sondern auch auf weiteren Sendern in Großbritannien und der EU gespielt. Es erreichte Platz 76 der NACC Top 200 in den USA.

Die Live-Shows der Band sind viszeral, intensiv und präzise. Das Far Out Magazine zeichnete sie 2023 zur besten Live-Band des Jahres aus, ihre London-Shows waren stets ausverkauft. Die Band tourte bereits mit Codeine, The Jesus and Mary Chain und Black Country, New Road.

Skassapunka are born in Lainate, near Milan, at the end of 2008. This band is known fotits strong anti-fascist and anti-racist connotations. In 2013 Skassapunka release thefirstalbum Di Vento in Vento.In 2014 the band enters the roster of the independent label Kob Records. In 2015, thesecond album “Il gioco del silenzio”, with featuring of Enrico from Los Fastidios andDema from Talco, is released. Thefirst European tour follows the album.In 2016 with the single We Want To Dance Ska a new European tour starts.In 2017 the single “Bella Ciao” and the third album Rudes Against come out; they arefollowed by a European tour that will lead the band to play with groups like Bad Manners,The Prosecution and The Flatliners.2018 is the anniversary of the 10 years of Skassapunka, celebrated with a new EP,“Adelante”, and a new tour, the "Adelante tour". Along this 10th year of activity the bandhas played with some of the most important bands of the Italian and International ska andpunk scene, like The Locos , The Real McKenzies , The Bombpops , Los Fastidios andThe Sewer Rats. In May 2019, new European tour has started. It’s named after the singleParadox. In 2024 the band celebrate theirfirstfifteen years with a tour, SKASSAPUNKA XV TOUR.In 2025 the band releases an EP called “ALDO CHIAMO ANCORA”, in collaboration withother important Italian bands, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Liberation fromnazi-fascism (25th April 1945). With the EP, the band release also a shortfilm about themeaning of the anti-fascist Resistance today with interviews to the bands that took part inthe EP. New tour starts on March 2025.

Over their brief time as Adult DVD, the Leeds based 6-piece have become known for their relentless output of infectious hooks and grooves with a euphoric live show that could be mistaken for a club night. Their first single ‘Do Something’ taken from self-released, self- produced EP ‘Next Day Shipping’ landed straight onto the BBC6 Music B list earning widespread support from Dork, Line of Best Fit, Clash, Farout and more. The group ended 2024 with a packed out show at the iconic 100 Club show and 2025 kicked off with a sold out headline for Line Of Best Fit’s ‘5 Day Forecast’ a showcase for the essential new artists of the year. Followed by a sold out twice over (one early, and one late club show, on the same day) at Belgrave Music Hall, in their hometown. Whether tapping into their love for chorus-centric indie or the influence of acid-house floor- fillers, their core appeal remains consistent: undeniable humour; bold, danceable instrumentals; and instantly memorable songwriting. Adult DVD are currently writing new material and gearing up for a summer at festivals in the UK and Europe.
