Ghosts and Errors // What began as an explorative solo/studio project of Berlin singer-songwriter Florian Stepper quickly grew into a thriving five-piece formation featuring Berlin musicians Bianca Steffen, Kevin Kuhn, Felix Nagel, and Marco Mühlhans. In January the debut album Teenage Prose was released via My Favourite Chords — a collection of songs written and produced over six years between Berlin’s iconic Funkhaus studios and the remote Andalusian countryside. These contrasts, these shifting atmospheres, are etched deeply into the record’s sonic landscape. The songs center on individuation, confusion, and identity, telling stories of a life drifting ashore — of someone who “forgot all the questions while finding wrong answers, while trying to figure the rules of the game” (“Internet”). Sometimes eerie, sometimes tender - the tracks follow the tradition of indie-rock songwriting with a strong author’s touch, carrying the ethos of artists like Sparklehorse or Sebadoh. Big catchy pop moments at times paired with a surreal kind of Aldous Harding–like eccentricity and a childlike spirit of discovery. All of this is brought to the stage with raw emotion and an insatiable joy of playing by the five-piece.

Vor knapp 26 Jahren – Im Jahr 1999 wurde BITUME gegründet.
Ein fast fließender Übergang aus der Band Hush Puppies, die mit neuen Namen weitergeführt wurde. Kurz darauf folgte das erste Studioalbum, und BITUME fing an, Konzerte über Konzerte zu
spielen und war ziemlich fleißig mit weiteren Liedern und Alben. Immer in Bewegung und schnell gut vernetzt in der Deutschpunkszene. Damals auf dem Kultlabel VITAMINEPILLEN
RECORDS zuhause, ist BITUME jetzt auf ROOKIE RECORDS und dort in allerbester Gesellschaft. Ein Ende ist nicht abzusehen. Warum auch.
Zwischen damals und heute liegen unfassbar viele Kilometer, viele tolle Abende, viele lebenslange Freundschaften und viele schöne und verrückte Geschichten. Viel Punk, viel Musik, viele tolle Orte und Bekanntschaften. Viele, viele Proben, viele mal das Lied WIND, viele gerissene Gitarrensaiten und vieles mehr.
26 Jahre sind eine lange Zeit - alle werden älter und das Leben ändert sich. Die Musik und die Band ist dabei für BITUME eine durch alle Lebenslagen anhaltende Konstante. Das merkt man.

RASCO / Named after Charlie Megira’s hit song “At the Rasco”, and influenced by The cramps, Beach Boys, Elvis, April March and many more, RASCO distill into their music the essence and sound of sixties surf and garage bands, and combine it with vocal harmonies and Hebrew lyrics. Eden Atiya (Electric guitar) met Gaya Wajsman (Bass guitar) at a weird little smokey cave in Jerusalem, they teamed up with Itay Hamudi (Drums) to create Rasco. Their Debut Self-titled album is filled with Electric guitars, Catchy riffs, Sea and sun. Sounds of Rasco try to explore the past, and melt the present into the future.

Jeden Dienstagabend gestalten die 5 Mitglieder von LSD und eingeladene Gäste im Berliner Schokoladen ein Programm aus neuen Texten und Songs. Gegründet 1996 besteht LSD heute aus den Mitgliedern Mia Pittroff, Richard Blaha, Andreas „Spider“ Krenzke, Uli Hannemann, Tobias „Tube“ Herre und Ivo Smolak. Alle 5 genannten Künstler sind als Autoren und Musiker auch in anderen Bereichen aktiv.
LSD bietet jeden 1. & 3. Dienstag ein Offenes Mikro für Menschen an, die spontan etwas vortragen wollen. Beachtet bitte, dass der Beitrag selbstverfasst sein muss und nicht länger als 6 Minuten dauert. Wer am Offenen Mikro liest, braucht keinen Eintritt zahlen und bekommt ein Freigetränk.
