LÙLÙ is a power-pop supergroup from Lyon and Marseille, sharing members with local fixtures such as Pogy et les Kéfars, Irnini Mons, AVIONS, Edgar Suit and Fontanarosa. Lùlù craft and sing in French and Italian, love songs for the anxious and glam rock gems for the dreamers. They have but one thing in mind: delivering hits. The soundtrack to sleepless nights during the heatwave, nights on the town with the gang chasing up the sunlight and staring at your spilled drink, for fans of Sheer Mag, The Nerves, The Hives or Radioactivity.

FLAWS is a four-piece punk band from Berlin. They smash out eggy riffs, riot grrrrl-inspired vocals, and garage-infused tunes. Expect tempo shifts — from short punk bangers to twisted, playful song structures. Their demo dropped in March ‘24, with a new tape in the works.

Sometimes, the best things happen by chance—and that’s exactly how Nils, Konstantin, Richard and Roman met each other in 2024. As DOGDAZE, they’ve been making music together ever since. Their self-titled debut EP dropped on January 1, 2025, weaving a sound that drifts somewhere between post-punk, indie rock, and shoegaze.

Their music is shaped by a shared love of past decades’ pop culture and a keen ear for what’s happening in today’s music scene. You’ll hear influences from New Order, The Cure, and The Smiths, but also nods to modern acts like Beach Fossils, King Krule, and HighSchool. Still, DOGDAZE refuse to be put in a box. Even on their first release, their experimental spirit shines through—only fueling the excitement for what’s next.

BUMANBUMAN ist mein Soloprojekt. Ich bin Ruebe, seit Jahrzehnten bei allerlei Bands zum Thema Punkrock tätig ( z.B. HAF, Buman, Minus Eins, Hammerfall, We Are Loud, etc etc etc. ).

Und plötzlich wurde es Zeit, den ultimativen Höhepunkt jeder Rockstarkarriere anzugehen : Eine Soloplatte.
Also erschuf ich in langen dunklen Nächten die LP „Verdammt Nochmal", released im April 2024.

11 Songs zwischen Auf-die-Fresse-Punkrock und Tut-so-als-ob-er´s-könnte-Gefrickel, garniert mit der einen oder anderen Melodie, die im Ohr bleiben will. Heisser Scheiss, sach ich mal.

Und weil ich´s so gut finde, muss es auch auf die Bühne, egal ob ich dafür sechs Arme zu wenig hab oder nicht. Also kommt die Band jetzt vom Band und ich nöl euch dazu auf´s Übelste die Ohren voll mit allem, was ich so zu sagen hab. Und das ist nicht wenig.

If you were to receive signals from space—from distant stars and planets—with a broken portable radio, they might sound like the releases from the Alien Transistor label. Since its founding in 2003, the label has been searching for pop in places where no one else would expect to find it: in the shimmering psychedelic, sometimes jazzy sound of The Plastik Beatniks, the explosive music of o'summer vacation, cumbia-influenced dub reggae by The Alien Dub Orchestra, or the experimental electronica of Soft Violet (to name just a few). Many of the artists are connected in one way or another to the label's founders, brothers Markus and Micha Acher of The Notwist. The label releases music that fits Alien Transistor's open, genre-spanning concept—and that can even come from another galaxy.

BELLA WAKAME

Percussion meets modular synthesis – what might sound minimal on paper unfolds as a vivid sonic journey in the Berlin duo Bella Wakame’s debut album (Umor-Rex, 2025). Following their hypnotic 2023 debut single “Toutpartout PT2,” the album brims with captivating melodies and rich electroacoustic textures that shift playfully between structure and experimentation.

Andi Haberl (The Notwist, SUN) brings his organic, sensory percussion into dialogue with Florian Zimmer’s modular synth wizardry (Saroos, Driftmachine). Their collaboration merges groove and atmosphere into something unmistakably their own—pulsating, fluid, and full of surprise. Subtle echoes of Neu!, Can, and World Standard shimmer through, yet Bella Wakame’s sound remains refreshingly original—elastic, immersive, and alive.

SUN (duo Version feat. Marcus Rom of Oh no Noh)

“I was primarily concerned with atmospheres, with moods that move me—and hopefully others as well,” says Berlin-based drummer and songwriter Andi Haberl, aka SUN, about his solo debut album “I Can See Our House From Here,” which was released in the summer of 2024 on Notwist's own label Alien Transistor. While Haberl relies on a wide variety of acoustic layers and samples to create the desired moods, the multi-instrumentalist roughly locates the result, which has matured over many years, between the poles of “ Gold Panda/Four Tet, Steve Reich, Krautrock, and film soundtracks.”

In fact, the Berlin-based musician spent a good 15 years refining his solo recordings to find exactly the frequencies and sounds that really move him. “I want to take people on a journey. And it's definitely a personal journey, because when my parents separated and sold the house I grew up in, I really felt like the ground was being pulled out from under my feet. That's why I dedicated the album title and the track of the same name to our old house – so I could keep it in my memory forever.”

At Schokoladen  SUN/Andi Haberl (drums/sampler) will bring the results of this long journey to the stage alongside with Markus Rom (Oh No Noh) on banjo and electronics(Oh No Noh). A long-time member of The Notwist and various other bands/projects (including Alien Ensemble, AMEO, jersey, Ditty, Bella Wakame), Andi Haberl has also collaborated with My Brightest Diamond, Owen Pallet, and Kurt Rosenwinkel. The new album “I Can See Our House From Here” is his first solo release as SUN.

A Mess, die Rock n’ Riot Sensation aus Dänemark, bringt frischen Wind und Power in die Musikwelt. Stellt euch vor, The Breeders züchteten Avril Lavigne und überließen die Erziehung Pussy Riot. “Die neue EP ‘NO MAN’ ist im Januar 2024 erschienen und erfreut sich sowohl Airplay als auch großartigen Reviews und Aufmerksamkeit wie die Debüt-EP ‘WOMAN’ (Visions, Der Spiegel, Good Because Danish und mehrere andere). ‘NO MAN’ setzt den Erfolg des gefeierten Debüts fort, mit den Singles ‘Happy’ und ‘Gender Traitor’, die auf dänischen und deutschen Radiostationen rotieren. 2024 bringt Europatouren nach beeindruckenden Live-Auftritten auf Festivals wie dem SPOT Festival (DK), Smukfest (DK) und dem Nordklang Festival (CH) in den vergangenen Jahren. Dorte Hartmann ist die Frau hinter A Mess, einem energiegeladenen Duo: Gesang/Gitarre und Schlagzeug mit Per Gerhard Jørgensen.

The Erich Weinert Studioband is a collective in which roles shift:
There's no set schedule for who finds the lyrics to the melodies or the rhythm to the harmony. They meet in the eponymous studio, where drummer Ed Rich records all stuff on tape-machine. The result is heart-warming songs for dancing feet. Fixed stars are the wonderfully clear vocals of Lydia Pfefferkorn (Jacques Palminger & 440Hz Trio), the soup-salting piano of Fabian Skodda, as well as the signature sound of a soulful harmonica played by Coward Harpendale (Andre Welt), and last but not least: guitarist F.S.Blumm, who is involved in numerous projects and recently switched to bass.

The band locates its sound somewhere between everyday poetry and ancient pop music.

Die Erich Weinert Studioband ist ein Kollektiv in dem die Rollen wandern:
Wer gerade den Text zu den Melodien oder den Rhythmus zur Harmonie findet ist nicht festgelegt. Man trifft sich im namensgebenden Studio, wo Schlagzeuger Ed Rich auch in einigen anderen Formationen Musik aufs Tonband bringt. Am Ende stehen beherzte Lieder für tanzende Beine. Fixsterne sind dabei der wunderbar klare Gesang von Lydia Pfefferkorn (Jacques Palminger & 440 Hertz), das Suppe salzende Klavier von Fabian Skodda, sowie der Signature-Sound einer beseelten Mundharmonika, gespielt von Coward Harpendale (Andre Welt) und zu guter letzt: der in eine Vielzahl von Projekten verstrickte Gitarrist F.S.Blumm, welcher erst kürzlich zum Bass gewechselt ist. Die Band verortet ihren Sound zwischen alltäglicher Poesie und uralter Popmusik.

Michał Biela is a distinctive voice in Poland’s alternative scene. A co-founder of the post-rock band Kristen, he has also played with Ścianka, Kings of Caramel, and Enchanted Hunters. Since his 2014 solo debut—nominated for the prestigious Paszport Polityki award—he has crafted minimalist songs that blend folk and Americana with Polish poetic traditions, praised for their elegance, restraint, and haunting atmosphere.

Michał Biela ist eine prägende Stimme der polnischen Alternativszene. Als Mitgründer der Post-Rock-Band Kristen spielte er zudem bei Ścianka, Kings of Caramel und Enchanted Hunters. Seit seinem 2014 erschienenen Solo-Debüt – nominiert für den renommierten Paszport Polityki – begeistert er mit minimalistischen Songs zwischen Folk, Americana und polnischer Liedtradition, die für ihre Eleganz, Reduziertheit und eindringliche Atmosphäre geschätzt werden.
